His inspiration for the field of dentistry came from his upbringing in a family of doctors and his strong desire to help others. He earned his undergraduate from the AB Shetty Institute of Memorial Sciences (NITTE University), Mangalore, then went on to Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal, to earn his postgraduate degree. He maintains a good record of excellence throughout his educational career. He has received extensive training and fellowship in full mouth rehabilitation using “All on 4” implant surgeries.

Dr Akshay Nigam is an expert in Oral Implantology replacing single, multiple or full mouth dental implants. Additionally, LASER dentistry and Esthetic dentistry using composite materials and prothesis are his specialized abilities. He comes with a wealth of experience in Microsurgery, Flap surgeries and Bone augmentation. He not only specializes in dental implants but also has developed a keen interest in dental business management, unfolded his journey into opening his very own clinic with his beloved wife, Dr. Akanksha Sachdeva who specializes in Prosthodontics, built M/s. Eversmiles a clinic affiliated with Ridgetop Dental International, in the center of Bangalore.

As a person, he is a jovial conversationist, makes himself well-liked by both his patients and colleagues. He reads frequently and maintains a great interest in current affairs. A person who enjoys adventure and thrills participates in a variety of sports. During his college days, he competed for his institution and won several medals in Cricket, Football, Table-Tennis and Athletics. He is quite passionate about aviation and defence, and he enjoys watching entertainment-related thrillers in his free time.
