Dr. Akanksha Sachdeva is a proud Bengalurean at heart, despite being a Delhi native. She hails from a family of Army officials. Being raised in an army family/ military brat played a significant influence in forming her as a person and contributing to her life. She specializes in the field of Prosthodontics, a branch of dentistry concerned with replacement and rehabilitation of patients with missing teeth a speciality involving crowns and bridges. She completed her masters in dental education at the reputed Manipal College of Dental Sciences in Manipal after graduating from M.R. Ambedkar Dental College, Bangalore. She also obtained her postgraduate certification in Laser Dentistry and Oral Implantology from Manipal College of Dental Sciences in Manipal.
She has carved her expertise in Implant Prosthetics which is a specialisation in Prosthodontics. Through this, she obtained experience performing All on 4 and All on 6 cases and progressed from single implant restoration to full mouth rehabilitations. Her area of specialisation is geriatric care, where she treats patients ranging in age from 40 to 70 years old. She works and believes in the principle of improving the quality and longevity of life.
Dr. Akanksha keeps a passion for teaching and believes it is important to share the knowledge acquired through her experience with the aspiring dentists and dental fraternity. Accordingly, she conducts webinars on subjects related to her expertise. Her diligence and competence of work have earned her numerous honours, including nominations for the 2019 Famdent Awards for Best Associate Dentist and India Healthcare Awards for Best Budding Prosthodontist in 2017, among many others.
As a dentist, she is inspired by the ways to comfort patients, convey joy, and comprehend their worries as well as the relationships that form along the route. Her entrepreneurial acumen helped build M/s. Eversmiles a clinic affiliated with Ridgetop Dental International, in Indiranagar, the heart of Bangalore. Eversmiles, a group practise, aims to provide cutting-edge dental treatments like implants, microscopic root canal, cosmetic dentistry, gum care, restorative procedures, extractions, child dentistry, braces, crowns, bridges, and more. Her warm personality enjoys the experiences with each patient she comes in contact and learns new qualities of character she can adapt from them.
